In the following, we use the term 'platforms' to refer to all of the aforementioned software. By using these, you agree to the processing. At Code8, we generally apply the principle of data minimisation and only collect personal data when absolutely necessary. If personal data (e.g. email addresses) is collected, processed, or used on our platforms, this happens solely for the purpose of providing the services offered on these platforms. Furthermore, we do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes without your explicit consent.

Disclosure of Personal Data

Vercel: We use the hosting and analytics services of Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA ('Vercel'), for hosting our platforms and capturing usage data. This may include data such as anonymised IP addresses, browser information, visitor statistics as well as email addresses you provide if you create an account on one of our platforms. Types of data processed: IP addresses (anonymised), browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, time of access, page content and time spent. Purpose of processing: Provision and operation of our platforms, analysis of website performance, improvement of the user experience, ensuring technical stability. Legal basis: The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the proper provision and optimisation of our services). Data transfer to third countries: Vercel is a US company. Data transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses. Vercel is committed to complying with data protection regulations and uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Retention: Data is stored for a maximum of 12 months and then automatically deleted.

Right to object: You may object to the processing of your data by Vercel at any time. To do so, contact us at datenschutz@code8.dev. Please note that an objection may impair the functionality of our platforms.

Rights of Data Subjects
