The name carries a double meaning: quitt sein — being even, all settled — and Quittung, the word for receipt. We are taking this product from market analysis and positioning through brand, screen design, and technical foundation.

The payer opens a receipt to the group; each member taps what they ordered — live at the table or async. Unclaimed items split equally as fallback.
Instant split — no account needed
A single-use feature at the table: scan or enter a bill, share a link or QR code — everyone picks what they had and sends their share. No group, no account required.
Bot members & identity
Add named placeholders before someone has an account. When they join Quitty and claim their slot, all historical expenses transfer automatically.
European hosting & DSGVO
All infrastructure hosted within Europe. Full Datenschutz-Grundverordnung compliance from day one — no US cloud dependencies for user data.

Quitty is designed as an iOS-first app with a mobile-optimised web layer for guests and Instant split participants.
